AI transparency (AI Act)
Last updated: 15 October 2026
This is a translation provided for convenience. In case of discrepancy, the Italian version prevails.
This page explains where and how the ai-now.it website uses artificial intelligence systems, who provides them and what human oversight is applied, in line with the transparency obligations of Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (AI Act), applicable from 2 August 2026.
Who we are
The ai-now.it website and the AI NOW events are organised and managed by Netlab Srl (VAT no. 06987700637) and Nowtech Srl (VAT no. 07669731213), based in Naples.
Why this page
AI NOW is the expo of applied artificial intelligence, and we think it is right to say clearly how we use it ourselves: which content on the site was prepared with the help of AI, with which tools and with which checks.
AI systems used
To prepare the website's text, translations and graphics we use generative AI models from external providers, including Claude by Anthropic. We do not develop our own models. The site has no chatbots or assistants that talk to visitors, and we do not use emotion recognition, biometric categorisation, profiling with automated decisions or deepfakes.
Where AI is involved
a) Website text. Some of the event presentation texts were written with the help of AI based on the organisers' instructions; the organisers reviewed and corrected them before publication.
b) Translations. The English, French, Spanish and German versions are translated from Italian with AI. In case of discrepancy the Italian version prevails.
c) Graphic elements. All the website's graphics, including the sector icons, are made with generative AI. The exception is the AI NOW logo; partner and patron logos belong to their respective owners.
d) Accessibility widget. The translation feature of the Includo widget uses Google machine translation. Details are in the privacy policy.
Human oversight
AI-prepared texts are reviewed and corrected by the organisers before publication. AI does not make decisions about visitors, subscribers, exhibitors or partners: registrations, information requests, accreditations and access to services are handled by people.
Personal data
AI tools are used to prepare the website content, not to process visitors' data. Personal data collected through the forms is not sent to AI services and is processed as described in the privacy policy.
Reports
If you believe that AI-generated content is inaccurate, harmful or not correctly labelled, you can report it using the contact form. We will check it and, if necessary, correct or remove it.
